About Us

Susan had been an exchange student to France for a year in high school and always knew she would be doing some significant world travel again someday for a longer period of time. In the Spring of 2024 when Susan retired from her second career (first career was US Navy helicopter pilot and second career was aviation safety services) she began looking into how to do full time travel. After watching the You Tube channels of several full time travelers, and conducting lots of research, a rough plan was hatched. We would sell our house in Colorado and get rid of most of our stuff – keeping a few things of sentimental value in storage. Then we would visit some friends and family in the USA, and finally launch off on two years of international travel. The goal would be to see some places we both want to visit and to scout for a place to eventually settle down again. Whether that will be inside or outside of the USA we do not know yet, we are keeping our options open.

So in the Spring of 2025, we sold the house and Susan’s car. Adam retired (scientist turned startup biotech project manager) and we got rid of almost everything, leaving Colorado in Adam’s car with our Ebikes on the back.
